First, the Agilent Intuvo 9000 Gas Chromatograph System was selected as “Green Product of the Year.” I blogged about our innovative GC when it was first introduced last August.
“This award corroborates the customer feedback we are receiving from labs across the globe,” says Agilent’s Shanya Kane, “regarding Intuvo’s contributions to laboratory throughput, space and power efficiencies, as well as the designed-in simplicity of the user interface and operation.”
Second, the Agilent 5977B GC/MS System was selected as “Most Popular Scientific Instrument.” Introduced in October 2015, the 5977B is 10 times more sensitive than anything else in its class.
“The 5977B is a major leap forward,” says Agilent’s Jim Yano. “It includes a new high-efficiency ion source that makes it possible to detect pollutants and contaminants at previously undetectable levels.”
Third, Agilent was recognized as “Most Influential Foreign Manufacturer” for the second consecutive year.
“We have made significant investments to provide innovative new offerings to the China market,” says Agilent CEO Mike McMullen. “We are proud that our efforts are being recognized by external agencies.”
ACCSI 2017 brought together leaders from diverse industries to discuss topics ranging from bioscience to food safety and environmental monitoring. Agilent has attended ACCSI since 2008 and has received 28 awards to date.
